Had the pleasure to jam out on 3 songs with one of the most bad ass, soulful, and energetic pedal steel players in world along with his amazing family band Robert Randolph & the Family Band on last Saturday Night Jan 24th, 2015 at the City Winery on Chicago's West loop area. All the ladies started jumping up on the stage like they had the holy ghost, lol. What a fun night with good people, a great audience, and talented souls!!!

A new project aspiring to become a new meeting place for lovers of African-American Roots music worldwide. The "New Generation Blues Tour" presents new American blues talents, rooted in the great destiny of this music through their personal history.

The first edition of this tour took place in November 8th and went thru 30th 2014 with three young musicians from a family line occupying an important place in the heritage of Black American Music.

- Wayne Baker Brooks, son of Lonnie Brooks, he accompanied his father as soon as he was old enough to play the guitar. At the head of his own band for 17 years, with an album, EP's, and singles for his own label Blues Island Records. Wayne is known for his electrified blues and contemporary style.

- Shawn Holt is the worthy heir of his father, the late Magic Slim. Surrounded by his father Teardrops, he published a superb album, "Daddy Told me" in the summer of 2013. At the top of the charts Blues in Chicago, he has earned Shawn and the Teardrops a Blues Music Award 2014 in the category "Best New Artist" and Blues Blast Awards 2014 in the category "Best New Artist".

- Tasha Taylor Johnnie Taylor became famous in the US with the acquisition of a classic 60s, "Who's making love" Claiming her Father as her main blues influence, Tasha also delight fans of nostalgic soul and contemporary rhythm & blues.

To accompany them on stage, an "all-star band" consisting of Russell Jackson on bass, who notably BB King together for 8 years, and Jerry Porter on drums, long officiated behind Buddy Guy and Magic Slim.

Russell Jackson will be the artistic director of the tour and the architect of a show offering a new vision of the blues, now more than ever, is still alive.
